Did you know you can use AI-enhanced content for profit gains?
Content marketing is a necessary method of communication every online entrepreneur has to use in order to get in front of their target audience. It can be done in many formats and on a wide variety of platforms in different styles, but when it comes to generating profits from your reach, it all boils down to content.
They say content is king because the sheer volume of what you have to produce is massive – but it’s also very effective at getting your brand noticed, putting people on your list and getting them to convert into buyers.
If the content you’re publishing is infrequent or ineffective at guiding and persuading people, all the time and effort you put into it will be wasted. Artificial intelligence (AI) tools can improve your entire content marketing process.

From increasing and enhancing the types of content you produce to elevating it to work more efficiently for you, AI is the key to increased profits. Below, you’re going to see how this fairly new technology can pay off for you and why you should be using it to expand your earnings starting today.
AI Can Help with a Variety of Content Pieces
When we’re talking about content marketing, you have to look at it through the view of your entire marketing strategy, not just one source that delivers traffic. Content marketing encompasses many different working parts.
Blogging
You have your blog that pulls in traffic for you and builds your brand. In addition to assisting you in pulling that traffic to your site, AI has the ability to help you engage users at a higher level, and retain them as loyal readers so they later convert into buyers.
Emailing
Content marketing includes your email autoresponders, too. With AI working for you, you’ll start to see your open rate climb, your Sender Score improving, and click-through rates soaring – which means more money in your pocket.
Social Media
Your social media arm in content marketing is going to perform better with AI’s assistance because it can pinpoint the type of content that not only resonates better with your audience, but helps you drive those followers to monetized pages.
Customer Service
Many people don’t realize it, but your customer service replies and back and forth discussions with prospective buyers has the potential to increase the lifelong value of your customers, or turn prospects into sales and AI can improve your communication so this works in your favor.
Sales Copy
Sales copy is a part of your content marketing, and this is an area where AI thrives, even if you don’t. It can not only craft or improve your copy for a heightened level of persuasion, but it can create split testing versions so that your sales letters are always optimized and converting into profits.
Joint Ventures
You may not realize how important a JV (joint venture) page is to your content marketing efforts, but this has the ability to sway affiliates into promoting for you, a feat that can give you a wider reach for sales.
AI can not only identify what elements affiliates will want highlighted on that page, but if you’re recruiting affiliates directly, it can craft those communications and responses, too – giving you a better chance for a positive reply.
Info Products
The creation of info products (and your entire funnels of upsells and downsells) is a part of your content marketing that helps you build an online empire strategically. It’s an aspect AI can help you with by identifying topics and creating funnels that will be in-demand with your target audience.
List Building
For list building, content marketing involves the creation of a lead magnet and a landing page. These are two things AI can help with, not only in getting any lead to convert, but in convincing the right people to get on your list so your revenue rises.
Networking
If you’re networking with other niche leader, in an attempt to position yourself as a good partner or influencer for collaborations, AI is going to be able to lend a hand in suggesting how you can do that in a way that will contribute to your bottom line.
AI Can Brainstorm Creative Content Ideas Based on Data
One area of content marketing that many people struggle with is in brainstorming and being creative. If you look at most content, it’s nothing more than someone doing what others have already done, but in a re-worded version.
It’s the people who emerge as thought leaders – with innovative content that’s cutting edge and different – who earn the most from their efforts. You can lean on AI to increase your earnings in different ways.
For example, AI has the ability to:
- 1Analyze the online behavior of your target audience.
- 2Gauge your audience's personal preferences.
- 3Develop ideas to pique your subscriber's interest and make them more likely to open an email.
- 4Sort through large swaths of data to generate ideas that are based on current news.
It has the power to sort through large swaths of data to curate information that helps it generate ideas that are based on current news. For example, if you’re in the survival niche, AI can look at news stories that are breaking and craft ideas based on timely information.
If the marketplace is experiencing trends, AI will be on top of it and help you earn your fair share of the profits using its ability to dive into social listening and observe chatter filled with both positive and negative discussions.
With its access to such a large volume of data, it can spot patterns you may never see within your niche or with a certain demographic. This means it can help you create ideas your audience will find closer to their needs.
It can not only spot trends and patterns, but predict them, too. This means you get a jumpstart on topics that are likely to be in high demand, and you can use that to create monetized content because you’ll be one of the first providers with information about it.
AI can also pinpoint content gaps. This is a great way to brainstorm fresh ideas others have not saturated the internet with to date, but are still in demand with your audience. Some of the topics will be underexplored altogether, but others will simply be lacking in comprehensive coverage.
AI is able to evaluate the sentiment of your online audience, and based on their opinions, reviews and posts, it can help you brainstorm content that is more in line with what they desire.
As a marketer, you probably pay attention to what the competition is doing. But AI can go online and sift through all of the competition, analyzing what works well for them and what kind of engagement they get – in an effort to help you address similar topics, but in a better, more in depth manner or from a new angle.
Many marketers use AI for keyword research, but primarily for search engine optimization reasons. It’s also a good way for AI to unearth unique content ideas that have higher search volume with less competition in terms of the interests your audience has.
The type of sources AI can sort through is enormous. It’s not just news platforms and social media. It’s market reports, industry sources, academia and more. You’ll find a wider variety of ideas stemming from a full spectrum of resources.
AI Can Outline Your Content to Ensure Comprehensive Coverage of Topics
As any skilled content creator understands, working from an outline rather than flying by the seat of your pants is a good way to ensure you get comprehensive coverage of a topic.
But even when trying to create an outline, many marketers who are inexperienced at research and brainstorming fail to fully cover the topic. It's best if you can either start with your own outline and have AI expand on that, or have it create one from scratch that you then tailor to your needs.
In many different areas, it's those who are covering topics in a comprehensive manner who earn the most from their content marketing efforts. Thin content has not only been penalized by Google and other platforms, but consumers disregard it and view it with a low level of satisfaction.
If you want your profits to soar, you will leverage AI to help you create outlines that contribute to your goal of thoroughly diving into a topic so that your readers and followers either convert into a buyer or turn into a loyal audience.
When your content is fully enhanced with a good outline, you can ultimately earn more because you’ll develop a reputation as a niche leader whose work is worth spending time reading or spending money buying.
So how can AI help with your outline process? First, it’s great at developing a hierarchy of well-organizes topics and sub-topics. It sources all kinds of resources to pinpoint the patterns and volume of queries so that your content outline is going to attract and satisfy the needs of your readers.
It will take the gaps in content being ignored by other marketers and plug it into your outline, provided it makes a good fit and has enough interest to qualify for a spot in the content.
When it’s outlining for you, AI is not just going to tell you the topics to cover in the main headings and subheadings, but it will also incorporate keywords into the mix so that your heading tags are optimized within the outline itself.
When many marketers outline, they simply brainstorm the topic and throw everything into a list. It’s randomized, rather than logically ordered.
With AI helping you craft your outline, it’s going to be structured so that the flow of information makes more sense.
This ensures your audience will stay glued from the beginning to the end of the content, converting when it’s the right time. By having outlines that are formatted and ordered like this, you can reduce your bounce rate and improve sales.
You can use AI’s help for outlining all kinds of things. That includes your lead magnets and info products, blog posts, social media content, emails and more. Working from an outline simply ensures you have everything covered.
It’s still your sole responsibility to navigate the output AI provides and make sure it’s covered everything you do want and extract anything you don’t want included. Sometimes AI will add things that you know your audience won’t be interested in.
But other times, things will show up in your outline that you’d forgotten or didn’t realize were important to the overall topic. If you want to, you can keep prompting AI to expand the outline with additional sub-level bulletpoints, making content creation and marketing a simple task.
AI Can Create Content in a Myriad of Media Formats
Content isn’t a one size fits all approach. It serves many different purposes across many platforms – and therefore, there’s a need for multiple media formats. Consumers prefer to absorb information in different ways.

Some prefer to read text, others like to watch videos or listen to an audio format, and some prefer to learn information at a glance through an image or graphic. Then, there are live stream events that offer a back and forth real time content process to unfold between yourself and your target audience.
When it comes to maximizing your profits online, you need to be adept at delivering content in many different formats. This allows you to widen your reach and capture the attention of people who otherwise wouldn't be interested in what you were offering.
The good news is, AI can help you generate or plan various media for your content marketing strategy. Take something as simple as a book that you order off of Amazon. There are those who prefer text, and people who will only listen to audiobooks.
If the author were only offering text, they would miss out on thousands of dollars of revenue by not providing the other format to readers who steer clear of the text format. The same holds true with your online marketing efforts, so even if you don't have experience with multimedia content, AI will assist you and help you ramp up your revenue.
When you have the assistance of artificial intelligence to create different media styles, you get better engagement across the board because each individual can find a format that meets their needs and latch on to it rather than walk away because you aren't catering to their preferences.
When you have better engagement, such as someone who is immersed in your video, it means you get better results with your optimization due to the extension of the duration of their engagement with you.
This can lead directly to higher ad revenue and better conversions. If you were only catering to your audience in one media format, they might be more likely to walk away in the middle of a message.
By providing diverse content formats, search engines will begin favoring your website over others. They appreciate it when the traffic they are sending you is well served. With better rankings, you will see more organic traffic coming to your site, which will translate into higher revenue.
Another way AI can help you in this manner is in expanding your reach through shareability. Whenever you are capable of creating things like videos, for instance, and you allow people to share that content, they can embed it on their site or simply share the link and help your brand get known to your target audience.
With an increase in media format options, you're going to be able to publish across more platforms. If you only knew how to do text, you would be limited to publishing on LinkedIn or Facebook.
But when you add elements like...
- Video
- Image
- Audio
You suddenly open the door to platform like...
- Podcast
- Youtube
- Tiktok
This expanded reach means you will be able to find more people who are interested in what you have to offer, which ultimately means more sales.
Those sales may come in the form of direct product sales, affiliate commissions, ad revenue, sponsorships, merchandise, and more. It also gives you the option to run different types of paid advertisements, such as a Facebook ad that either has an image or video running in the feed.
Oftentimes, people worry about the burden of creating content in multimedia formats. This is especially true if you don't know how to produce your own video content from start to finish.
But if you can use AI to create the entire script and even give you advice on storyboarding and design, you can simply take that to a tool like Canva where you place the content on a slideshow presentation and then screen capture the video from there.
Or... you can use AI tools to use the text of your article by uploading your URL, and have the software create a video for you. Once such tool that I use frequently is called Pictory.
Take a look at my review here, for inspiration...
You can also ask AI directly to help you come up with a monetization plan for each type of media that you are going to be using in your content marketing strategy. For example, it can help you with a plan to monetize a live stream on social media or a live webinar event.
AI Can Tailor Content for Specific Segmented Demographics
Strategic marketers who segment their audience and tailor their message to each group do better online than those who cast a wide net and try to use a generic message across the board.
AI has the ability to tailor content for individual segments of your demographic audience. When someone finds content that feels as if it is written just for them, they are much more likely to convert into a buyer than if part of the content vaguely matched their interests, but the rest was entirely irrelevant.
Not only can AI help you figure out how to segment your audience for various content campaigns, but it can also create or improve content that you have created so that it is tailored just for that specific demographic.
This will increase your conversion rates because it is personalized to match their needs. It might be something as simple as their age, gender, income level, education level, location, or family situation.
For example, weight loss content might address unique challenges that are faced by women over 40 or men whose testosterone level has dropped. It might cater to someone who is on a budget and needs to use bodyweight exercises or those who can afford to build a home gym.
When you have AI working on content that is tailored for your specific demographics, it increases that person's loyalty to you. They feel understood, possibly for the first time in their life.
They begin to value your content above other creators who are simply churning out generic information. You will be able to use AI to understand their emotional and practical needs so that the content you are generating and publishing to that audience helps them get results and gives you better engagement and conversions.
When you have a well nurtured audience, the life value of that customer is going to be high and you will get to enjoy repeat business.
But those individuals will also spread the word about your brand to others because they see it as a valuable resource.
If you are running paid ads, AI is going to help your content marketing strategy by helping you segment the demographics so that your ads are precisely tuned to each individual audience and you are not wasting money by getting clickthroughs on people who are not cut out for that offer.
By knowing and catering to your specific demographics on an individual level, you'll be able to develop info products and services that address their specific concerns and pain points. For example, instead of just creating a generic weight loss program, you can target busy parents who don't have time to cook three meals a day.
You can also use it to help you create content that is geared toward different skill levels, like beginner, intermediate, and advanced. It can be tailored to people who have different goals or who have unique pain points that are unlike others’.
This is a good technology to be using when you are building a list, emailing your subscribers, or creating products and lead magnets. Most autoresponder tools have the segmenting feature built in, and you can use that paired with AI to send out messages that will get the kind of results you are looking for.
That will create the call to action, following the body of the content, to be more effective.
AI Can Improve Existing Content for Better Performance
If you were to look back on all of your past content marketing efforts, how much would you say is working for you in terms of converting into profits? Chances are, only a mere fraction (if that, for some people).
Don’t throw away everything you’ve done to date! You’ve already put time (and possibly money) into the effort of publishing content across many platforms. Instead of replacing it, ask AI to help you renovate it for better performance instead.
- 1AI can assist you in expanding content.
- 2AI can assist you in freshening it up with current information.
- 3AI can assist you by improving it for clarity, professionalism and persuasion.
- 4Sort through large swaths of data to generate ideas that are based on current news.
- 5AI can assist you by expanding your content's reach by optimizing your headline.
When your content is improved from headline to call to action, you can begin seeing more engagement, which includes purchases, not just comments, shares or sign-ups to your list.
Sometimes, a niche will have major evolutions – especially in something like health and wellness, or even survival and marketing. AI has the ability to stay on top of changes that can be used to quickly update your content and ensure it stays relevant to your readers.
You may go back and find content that you once created that was too vague or too broad. You can ask AI to narrow it down or make it more specific so that it begins to perform better for you.
The content itself might be in need of a polishing up in terms of quality. Not everyone is a professional writer. AI can ensure that it’s not only free of grammatical errors and typos, but that it reads well and keeps the audience engaged.
Some of the things we’ve gone through already can be ways in which you apply AI to update your content. It might improve the structure and outline or create different media formats for it, for example.
If it’s lacking a strong monetization strategy – or one at all – AI can assist you in turning ordinary content into profit-pullers, recommending what you should promote or create in order to make sales from each piece.
You’ll also find that AI is adept at creating a plan for your content so that it has anchors like pillars for you to build off of. This kind of content, often found on a blog, serves as the authority content, with many branches of smaller content pieces supporting it.
If you aren’t sure whether or not your existing content is working well, AI can develop an entire split test campaign for it so that by the time you’re done, it’s performing to the very best of its abilities for you.
It knows what metrics to track for your intended goal, what things to test, how to pit them against one another, and even how to analyze the results and move on from there until you’re fully satisfied.
AI Can Customize Content for Different Platforms
The platforms that you are publishing on all have a different audience built into it, different algorithms, different media formats that are accepted, and so on. Yet there are marketers who try to use a single strategy across the board.
Instead of just repurposing content so that it fits the mold in terms of the allowed media on a certain platform, you can use AI in a much more strategic manner to help you customize the content for your blog, and various social media entities.
When you have crafted content that is developed specifically for one platform to perform optimally there, you will see an increase in your earnings and engagement because that unique audience is going to respond better than if you tried to pass off generic content to them.
Websites
Starting with your blog, you can have AI customize the content so that it’s built not only to rank well in search engines, but satisfy readers and get the profits you want from it. Whether you write the blog posts yourself, or have AI do it, it will have better readability and structure and meet the needs of your readers’ concerns, which will ultimately help it rank better in search engine results pages (SERPs).
When you are getting that organic traffic and visitors are satisfied with your content, they will trust you more and click on the ads, affiliate links, and product links that you put before them.
AI has the ability to create text posts that are useful on platforms like Facebook and elsewhere. You’ll need content that generates engagement, and often that means posing a question or giving a great tip or hack that creates a buzz.
Facebook also allows you to use images and video, and even has a live stream option. You can ask AI to help you tailor content to the Facebook audience, which is typically not a young generation.
You can have it create content ideas and talking points for your live streams or ask it to develop top tier content you can share in a private, paid group – or one that you let people join as a bonus to one of your paid products.
Instagram and Pinterest
On Instagram and Pinterest, you can have AI create the type of graphics that get results. These might be niche-related pictures or social media quote posters. It can also be an infographic that is designed to help people absorb information quickly and easily.
For things like this, knowing the platform will help AI recommend design elements. For example, vertical pins work better for most marketers than square ones for Pinterest. Certain text layovers or color palettes may be more effective on one platform over another.
YouTube and TikTok
AI can work on video scripts and storyboards that are a great fit for a specific platform. For example, your TikTok script that AI writes is going to be a short-form version, whereas the YouTube script might be more in-depth due to the time preferences of each individual audience.
AI Can Optimize Content for Enhanced Discoverability
In many different surveys and polls, marketers have repeatedly stated that organic traffic generation is one of their biggest problems in making money online. That is solved by making sure that your content is effective and that you have the ability to get it discovered by your exact target audience, all of which AI can do for you.
Blog optimization is not just based on great content. It has many components, some of which are strategic and some technical. AI can help you make sure your content is presented the way search engine algorithms demand.
That includes the recommendation and use of keywords and phrases as well as meta tags and an interlinking and backlink strategy that appeals to the search bots crawling and reporting back about your content.
A strong organic traffic strategy is the best way to boost profits, and if you create newly optimized content, you can have AI work in a monetization plan each time. That may be the use of an ad network, recommending a digital or tangible product as an affiliate or even selling a service or product of your own.
Facebook is a social media platform that many marketers make money off of by having a page and groups. AI is capable of analyzing the data you give it regarding your engagement that you get on these platforms, and help you craft content that is more capable of getting the likes, shares, and comments that you are looking for.
It has the ability to understand the Facebook algorithm and assist you in developing content that they consider good for the community - as well as content that will generate conversation.
When you have content like this, it naturally shows up more in their users’ feeds, which means you get more engagement and more click throughs so that you can monetize your content marketing strategy on this platform.
YouTube
Not only can AI analyze what video topics are going to be in demand on YouTube, it can help you optimize your video content titles and descriptions and even give you suggestions on how the video should appear visually so that it performs well on this site.
You'll even get advice on the frequency and timing that you should be publishing in your niche on this platform so that you get increased engagement from your viewers, and can monetize it with ad revenue and other sales opportunities.
On Instagram, AI is going to be able to help you tailor your content so that it has the aesthetic appeal that many users of this platform prefer. In addition to the visual components, it can suggest the appropriate hashtags and timing for your published contend so that you not only get more engagement, but increased visibility on the site.
This can lead to increased sales, but it can also mean you get a better shot at being paid through sponsorships. When you are capable of getting better engagement and visibility, brands will want to pay you to be an influencer on their behalf.
TikTok
TikTok is another platform that artificial intelligence technology can help with. This is a fast moving platform that constantly has new trends and challenges. You can use AI to analyze what's happening there to help you devise a strategy to tap into it. This strategy can range from participation in these trends and challenges to the use of sounds and hashtags that will help your content gain more exposure for your brand.
From there, you can ask it to assist you with the development of a monetization strategy. Although you are typically only allowed to have the link in your bio, you can have an entire strategy geared towards influencer marketing on this platform and monetize your channel in different ways.
AI is also beneficial in helping you create attention grabbing pins that are designed and optimized for Pinterest. Your goal on this platform is not only to have your pins noticed in someone's feed, but also to get them to share it and have everyone click through on the link to go to one of your monetized pages.
By improving your ability to get noticed through visual cues and impressive ideas, you’ll find that your content is able to drive more sales without you having to do more work – it will simply perform better for you.
AI Can Repurpose Content for Maximum Profits
Lastly, you want to look at how AI’s repurposing abilities can impact your profits for the better. Repurposing has two meanings in the world of marketing.
Or you might have AI create an entire info product and then break each chapter up into individual lead magnets and each sub-heading within each chapter into its own social media post or blog post.
By working with content in more than one way, you can expand your profits. You might sell the info product directly, but then fill the lead magnets with affiliate links – or put ads on the blog to monetize that.
You’re giving increased life to your content and each version will satisfy readers, generate traffic and ultimately, deliver profits.
Content can also be repurposed just for different audiences.
You might take a single lead magnet on how to lose weight and have AI repurpose it for different demographic audiences – tailoring the content for men, women over 40, post-pregnancy weight loss, weight loss for health conditions and so on.
By using AI for this purpose, you not only stand to earn more from the various publications of the content, but you save money, too. Time is money, so even if you’re creating all of your content yourself, a repurposing strategy can eliminate wasted hours.
You don’t want to overlook the power of AI in ramping up your content marketing profits. It’s one of the easiest tools to use, with a friendly prompting interface that works like a casual back and forth conversation to get the output you’re seeking.
As you begin using AI to improve profits with content, try to make note of what works best for your business model and niche and develop a streamlined approach to leveraging this technology on a regular basis so that profits not only stay steady, but with your consistency, begin to grow.
Hi Suzanne,
Thanks for a very informative article on how to fully utilize AI.
As a beginning blogger, I am just now starting to use AI in creating good content that I can build on. I am now able to see that the possibilities are huge.
I was also impressed by the video you created in such a short amount of time. I haven’t gotten into video yet, but that will be in the future. When that time comes, I’m definitely choosing Pictory.
You also had a ton of ways that AI can improve, and rejuvenate older, ‘tired’ content in different formats. I can see that if you develop a good working relationship with your AI, profits will grow. I also enjoyed your website and good luck!
Ernie
Hi Ernie, and thanks for reading my article. And I’m glad you enjoyed my video as well.
AI is a fantastic tool with many uses. More are being developed every day it seems, haha.
And yes, Pictory is a fantastic tool. I actually use it to create shorts for my other YouTube channel.
I believe as long as we use AI properly, and not get lazy and let it do everything for us, it can definitely help grow our profits!!
Cheers,
Suzanne
Hey,
Wow, what an insightful read on how AI-enhanced content can drive profit gains! Seeing how AI technology is transforming marketing tactics and content creation is exciting. After reading your post, I have the following questions:
How can companies successfully incorporate AI-powered content into their current marketing campaigns?
What potential for audience engagement and content personalization might we anticipate in the future, given the quick progress AI is making?
I anticipate further research on this fascinating subject.
Hi Sara,
Thanks for your questions!
I expect most everyone is incorporating AI-written content at one level or another. Those that just copy/paste content are obvious, and that only hurts their ranking ability. But those using it properly, and for content that doesn’t need ranking such as emails, sales page copy etc, are getting a huge advantage over those that don’t. AI is well-trained in copyrighting!
As for audience engagement & personalization? Well that depends, again, on how responsible the author was with the content. No one wants to engage with a robotic-sounding piece of content, haha. And who knows how much better it will get if it does. The future is both exciting and scary, haha!
Cheers,
Suzanne
